KNOLE, Sevenoaks
Tuesday 25 June 2019

Originally built as an archbishop’s palace, Knole passed through royalty to the Sackville family, who still live there today. Visitors can take in the scale and magnificence of this 600 year old estate by exploring the grand courtyards or walking  in the parkland, still populated by wild deer.

We visit on a Tuesday when Lord Sackville’s delightful private gardens are open.

Inside the house, art lovers will find Reynolds, Gainsborough and Van Dyck to admire. Textiles enthusiasts can marvel at the seventeenth century tapestries and furniture that make the collection internationally significant.

Tickets £27 for National Trust members and £39.75 for non-members to include coffee, lunch and a Past and Present tour

Booking opens April 17th

This will be a self-drive outing but do tell us if you would like to go and are unable or prefer not to drive and we will hopefully be able to accommodate you.
